Scarlet's tag

Now being tagged has coincided nicely with me having nothing whatsoever to blog about. I mean there are things I could drone on or moan about, things I could share with you, but instead I'm going to stick to answering these ten questions:

1.Do you prefer asking questions or answering them
My mother used to tell me that I talked too much and listened too little. She was right and now I make a conscious effort to let people speak (and I even try my hardest not to interrupt).

2. What is your favourite joke? [Or favourite one liner?]

Heard about the mushroom who went to the party? He was a real fungi

3. Have you ever fantasized about being on Big Brother [the well known TV show... I'm not alluding to incest]
Never - but I am a fan of the show (on a purely 'interested in the psychological interaction between lots of sociopaths' type of interest - yeah, honest.)

4. Have you ever wanted to enter a talent show?
Nope.

5. Is Simon Cowell really necessary?
Umm, I don't mind him but I don't think he loves this woman he is marrying. Did you see how they pecked each other on the cheek at the award ceremony last night on tv? That's not love. Some say she is a beard but I do not know.

6. Tea or coffee?
Tea - strong, without sugar and with soya milk

7. What is your favourite perfume? Or smell?
Current favourite perfume is Jo Malone's Red Roses. Until I fell in love with this I thought I was a citrussy type of person. I was wrong.

8. What is the quickest route to Wales from where you live?
Why would I want to go to Wales? (only joking, Mark - I've had some lovely holidays in North Wales)

9. What does the word 'Wales' conjure to your mind?
That accent and Tom Jones of course

10. Are you dreading dreaming up ten questions to ask six bloggers?
No - because I won't pass on a tag, not even for the gorgeous Scarlet

Hi Mrs. French Fancy!
I enjoyed reading your feisty answers to these questions. Do you actually not like Wales? (You don't have to answer that!) I'm sitting at the computer trying to figure out how to shrink a PDF file and dealing with a broken tooth! Thanks for the laugh! xx

Glad you didn´t pass it on to me since I´m a tag-free zone - apart from that time (that you may recall) when I had to interview myself (if you don´t, don´t ask!)

Interesting choice of questions: reality shows & Wales...

LOLA:)

PS Greetings to the beautiful bichons...

Interesting answers and I've learnt a new urban word too - beard. So thank you:-)

I went to Wales at Easter and was converted. Mind you, probably because it didn't rain when everyone said it would.

I'm going to have to give that Jo Malone a try...I too am making that slow citrus to floral switch!

I loved reading this...and your answer about Wales made me laugh out loud!

I had not heard the work beard before either (well, obviously I had heard the word but not in that meaning...oh you know what I mean!!)

Love your answers FF, I had to click on your link to find out what a 'beard' was, now I know.

Totally respect the non-passing on of the tag. ;-)

AS for fantasizing about being on BB? Does anybody really do that? Why not just fantazise about being famous for doing something cool or truly admirable?

Have you tried 'Bal a Versailles'? It's not modern, but it is really something - especially if you're leaving the citrus stuff behind.
Or, for something lighter 'Apres l'Ondee'.

There are lots of good reasons to go to Wales Ms Frenchie - I'm off there again at the weekend and will expect stunning scenery and good company.

I'm gonna try me that red roses!

Sometimes whe I can't sleep, I imagine being in the Big Brother house and how I would handle some of the people in there. It works everytime and I drift off pretty quick !!

Ms Scarlet said...

Yep, I only watch Big Brother because of its cultural significance... and I do exactly what Selina does!
Thank you for playing, Mrs French!

Cyn - I was just being silly about Wales. I've had a few good holidays in rented cottages up in the mountains of North Wales and it is a beautiful part of the world. I'm not mad on their accent though

Nora - I'm an award free zone but I don't mind tags actually. It's the chore of having to select people and the fact that these days more and more bloggers choose not to do them.

Lane - The thing is I don't even think SC is gay but I also don't think they are a loved up couple. Still, what does it matter to me or the bichons?

Fran - Wales is beautiful and I was just being silly.

Laura - oh that perfume is so gorgeous. I have about a dozen at any one time and seldom choose the same one two days running - I've used this one non stop for two weeks now

Carol - I must be spending too long on the wrongmo sites then

Dash - I think it's been around for a long time now and just proves what sort of places I visit online

Steve - I would hate to be famous full stop. I'd have to wear make up all the time because of the paps in the bushes

tfitw - I'll wait for some riches to come my way before getting anything else I think, Fly - although I've got four pairs of M&S pantacourts on the way (I don't really fit the French sizes despite being a lot smaller - my waist goes in too much and my hips come out too much)

Lulu - I was only being daft. I do like Wales and one of our best friends is from Swansea

Selina - of course you and I would be the last two in because of our witty and intelligent behaviour

Scarlet - every morning I will be sitting there watching the repeated shows on Ch4 - and perhaps even watching the live streaming (confession time here)

Hi FF.

Sorry that I am being so rubbish at visiting other people's blogs at the mo'. The problem is that with me it is "all or nothing". Ah well.

Thank you muchly for your comment (about a zillion of them) over at mine.

I take tea with rice milk. I've lost half a stone to date so well done you! Hopefully I can copy your example!!! :)

Shw mae.

Thanks for sharing these snippets of information. As I don't understand quite a bit of this, I'll pass. (Part of the problem is that I rarely see television; I've got more interesting things to do — like blog.)

I hear Wales is lovely. Never been, but would love to go someday. And I cannot believe that you talk too much.

Drop the joke! Just kidding! No I'm not!
A good read and now I must read the one I missed on Tuesday.

And what about the Brecon Beacons... that's why I would go back to Wales at the earliest opportunity...

Not to mention the fact that my parents told me long ago that I was named after Owen Glendower, who led a rebellion in Wales way back when...

Otherwise, who is Simon Cowell ?

:-)

My brother goes to Wales for the walking every summer - and every summer it's flooded! Lots of rain, but lovely.. I imagine.

Oo, I actually do like citrus scents in perfume. I haven't tried anything by Jo Malone, but I imagine I'll just have to enjoy sniffing her wares on test papers instead of wearing them myself. I tend to have allergic reactions to the fixative chemical used in most perfumes.

that lot me me smile FF. Sorry I'm not commenting much at the moment. I just get home from work and fall asleep. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I used to wonder about Simon Cowell but the romantic in me DOES think that he loves his woman. He's seems to look a lot happier these days, and he's been a lot nicer to people on Britains Got Talent...oh yes...he has to be in love!

I was entered into a dance competition at Butlins once. And came third.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I don't know what's wrong with me at the moment - I just can't think of responses that I haven't come out with a zillion times before. So I thought it was best to avoid repetitive cliches and just do a group thank you

Indeed, who is Simon Cromwell?
Good answers!

Hi FF,

I'd love to hear more as I am looking for a new fragrance. The one I adore and have always worn, Miss Dior, is now almost prohibitively expensive and can only be bought here through SAKS, also expensive...xxxE

that is a real talent, watching a reality show regularly without envisioning yourself on there. i'm so pathetic, if i watch one episode of one show, i see myself there, getting booted fairly quickly too.

e - I used to be a perfume junkie and spent a lot of money on acquiring more and more bottles - now I'm just using them up and not replacing the, Because I've got them in their boxes inside a dark cupboard they have hardly evaporated at all. I know Miss Dior - it's gorgeous, also Diorissimo (the lily of the valley one) is part of my collection

Ed - I'd hate to be famous and always have to look perfect.
