The end of a marriage

Mrs Fancy becomes Miss Fancy and returns to her original blog. Incidentally I have deleted my second blog -please remove it from your sidebar as it won't lead anywhere.

Oh my dear.

I've been wondering how you are. I do hope you're ok. And if you need to moan - moan away.

Not the best news and just before Christmas, too. Blogland is sending you huge hugs.

Nice to see you back - genuinely - just wish it was under happier circumstances for you.

Oh gosh, FF, hope all is OK! Sending you warmest hugs from a pretty cold Northumbria. Will try and pop over to see you regularly. Glad you are back! Hxx

Wish you all the best, been thro a lot of what you have, good luck for the future. Things can only get better.

Laney - no,I'm not going to moan or relate what has happened in any detail. But I have missed you too

Fly - thank you sweetie - it was so good to talk today

Ed - thank you, glad to be back in your orbit

Frankie - I'm not really very Christmassy at the best of times. My mum died Christmas Day - okay it was some 15 years ago but it is still not a day for much merriment for me

Steve - I've missed you too

Hade - I will catch up with what you've been doing over the next day or so

Ben - hello to you, a new name (I think). Welcome to the blog. It's normally a sad place

Oh no, I am shocked to hear that, and hope you are coping ok. Are you returning to France or just your blog?

I was made redundant last week & haven't been in the mood to blog in a while but look forward to reading your posts again.

I separated in my twenties and regardless of fault or blame or all that it took me long long time to grieve the relationship.

So yes, therapy through blogging perhaps - but maybe a diversion too.

Stay strong

I have just returned after untold months away and . . . doom. I'm very sorry for your loss, unless it was your idea, in which case, congratulations.

In an odd related note, I may be in England next autumn for a week. I know it's not quite like saying, "I'll be at the pub later, perhaps I'll see you there," but stranger things have happened. Perhaps I'll see you then.

In the meantime, if you are a hugger, please accept an unhurried and robust one from me. I know the virtual is not as good as the physical, but you can maintain them longer.

Now back to my work and studies.

I have been wondering how you were doing. I was so pleased when I saw your blog appear on my blog roll - and I am so sorry.

Oh gosh! I can't believe what I'm reading. I'm so sorry. Hope you are OK and coping. Sending you a massive hug xx

Oh, dear, Julie; this is a shock! A long silence, then this. I am so sorry that this has happened.

As that musical group, The Insects (or Beetles, or Beatles, or whatever) said, "We get by with a little help from our friends." Just remember there are a lot of us friends out here (even a peculiar Bear)!

C. Troubadour said...

Sweet FF, I'm so sorry to hear this. I saw the headline on your newer blog and then saw the whole place had been deleted. I'm glad I thought to find you here.

Will be thinking of you and checking in on you. {{{FF}}}

I'm sorry to hear about the break-up of your marriage. It's a tough process to go through after so many years together.

You have a lot of support on this blog though, and you have lots of people thinking of you and wishing you well which I hope is of comfort in those down moments.

Big hugs and I hope it at least goes amicably.

Nora Johnson said...

Sorry to read this- best wishes flying straightaway to you through the blogosphere.

I'm only sorry in the sense that so much anguish could have been avoided if...if! Anyway, I wish you both well in your new lives not together. I'm happy that you are happy but sad if you aren't. It's nice to have you back.

A Super Dilettante said...

My dear, welcome back. I'm thinking of you and sending you lots of warm wishes...I'm so glad that people here are so supportive and caring. I think you need all the support, care and love in the world, especially right now. You don't have to do it on your own. Suffering can be shared as a community. My letter is on its way. Love ASD xxx

Good grief - that's a shock.

I hope you're ok and I wish you lots of luck and the strength to cope with the ups and downs that immediate future will no doubt bring. (Speaking from bitter experience.)

When you feel like blogging or a bit of a rant, we'll be here.

You know where I am if there's anything at all I can do. Lovely to have you back, and wishing you some calm and comfort, FF. Much love, Fhi xxx

So sorry. I know it's difficult to share stuff like this in blogland. I will be thinking of you and hoping things aren't too hard to handle. Suspect you are a strong cookie but feel things deeply. Life is so bloody full of ups and downs. Do take care. xx

AWONI - thank you for lovely thoughts

e- and the same to you, sorry I've not popped in yet. I'm a bit lacklustre really.

Hi FF, sorry its taken so long to come back on here.

I am so sorry about the end of your marriage. I hope this blogging type thing will help you through it and everything.

But, why, oh, why, do I feel a sting of envy?

Bless you, take care

Dearest Julie, I have been away. OMG, what a terrible time to be away. You have friends. Know that. There are no words that I can give you...except time and friends. That's all I know. I hope we will hear from you soon.

Despite everything, I hope you have a Happy Christmas and a much better New Year.

Hi Julie
It's Christmas Eve and I know you probably won't need a reminder, but I just wanted to wish you a Happy Christmas anyway.

Incroyable!
I've been blogging less and I thought we were all, (apart from willow), getting a bit tired of it. What a surprise your news is. You sound all right and I fervently hope you are. Big blogohugs. Don't stop telling us about your work in that elegant mansion. My mother's wealth is being used up in a nice place in Sussex. She is blissfully out of it, but as healthy as a horse. She may outlive me. Again, I hope you are well and look forward to your news here.

Hadriana's Treasures said...

Nice to see you over at mine, FF. If we lived nearer I'd suggest going for a coffee. The Carry On films have been on TV over Christmas and I've been looking out for your Dad's. Not seen it yet (so far) but will keep on looking.

I saw the Carry on Cleo and they are more clever than I remember them to be. Here's to a good year for us both. :) Hxx
