Back in August

Sorry everyone - I keep meaning to catch up on my sidebar and the posts I haven't commented on are growing by the half day.I am really an outdoorsy person at the moment - despite having fallen in the mud this morning and if there had been someone around to film it then I probably would have ended up on 'You've been framed' (I hate that show).

I'm giving myself a few weeks out of the blogosphere to regain my bloggy mojo and to finally finish sorting out the neglected part of our garden.

Bisous à tous

Very sensible. Got to make the most of outdoors whilst we can.

And you left us with a lovely picture of the babes. I bet they love trucking around outside with you:-)

Have fun and be careful of the ditches out there.

I'm the same way...it's hard to sit at the computer when the weather is glorious. I'm behind too. I finish my posts but I haven't been good about reading a lot of others. Enjoy this time. We'll wait...even though we miss you.

Have a wonderful time out in the fresh air! When it's time for a break, it's time for a break! Bloggers have seasons, maybe they're individual rather than collective. Have an enjoyable time going out and about! See you when you return, Ms. FF~ xx

Quite right too, the sunshine doesn't last forever, even in France. I'll still be here when you come back.

The odd sabbatical does you good - enjoy it and come back refreshed and enthused!

My dear, what a treat to see Poppy and Misty playing together. I think it is important to recharge our batteries and look for inspiration in our gardens. Please do come back feeling refreshed and relaxed. You'll be greatly missed by everyone. Lots of love xxx

Have a lovely vacation! Will be thinking of you and that beautiful bower while I'm working on my own little patch of earth. We have 50 lily bulbs (end of season clearance sale) on the way, and they have to go in the ground immediately ...

I hope you enjoy your time out. I find blogging time consuming as well, but it keeps me practising my creative writing so is a much needed task. Probably when I start writing seriously again, then I will drop off blogging for a while. Have a good rest....

Will miss you while you're away, Julie, but I also understand perfectly. Have fun and see you in August.

...which reminds me...I ought to spend more time in the garden than in front of the laptop.

Have a good break x

I always the French took most of July off — a sort of national custom, or habit, or pastime, or something.

When in France, do like the French.

See you anon.

Good for you! It's much more sensible to be out in the sun and fresh air doing things and actually living life than sat indoors in front of a computer....like I seem to be doing !!!

Yep. Absolutely...completely understand. Whilst you are away I have just posted 100546 comments to make up for all those you have posted on my I have not returned.

I feel tonnes better already and my guilt complex has gone. ;)

BTW your Endemol friends came to see me recently. Hope you get your bloggy mojo back when you want to get it back and not before! Au'voir ma cherie!

I love the pics of Poppy and Misty. Is that Poppy or Misty facing the camera in the top pic? She looks like she is laughing - so cute! Hope that you are enjoying your blogging break.

Sweetheart, so lovely and outdoorsy. You've caught the "outdoor" bug which I hope is a lifelong one. As for that muddy incident, I hope it made you laugh.. good clean fun and all ;)

Miss your interesting words. Think I shall try and be a more "regular" blogger too, what do you think? Peace and Love, X.

P.S. Do you know of any antiquarians in Brittany? More about that another time.
