Bulbing

That's how I spent my Saturday afternoon; planting hundreds of daffodil and tulip bulbs. This is something that I talk about every autumn and what usually happens is that I just don't bother and then the spring comes and I envy all the gardens I see with their pretty flowering bulbs.

Now all I have to do is plant the trillion or so packets of seeds that I seem to have acquired; not just think about it but actually do it. We have an empty border waiting to be filled. The trouble is that all the kneeling I did whilst bulbing has made one of my legs ache - oh this unfit body - so I might have to wait for a couple of weeks.

But I must, really must get them in the ground before the end of November.
