I'm feeling better.
It's just over a month since my operation and at one stage a couple of weeks ago I thought I'd never feel well again. But I do!
I'm back in the swing of maintaining a household - cooking, cleaning, laundry - and, even though I still indulge myself with an afternoon sleep with two bichons acting as bookends, it's a good feeling to be able to bend and move once again.
The stomach drain comes out in two and a half day's time, after which I will be able to shower and bathe again. It's been a real bind having to do stand-up body washing at the basin.
All in all, I'm feeling better. Now if only it would stop raining.

Good news about the drain coming out and being able to bathe again.
I'll say. Otherwise you'd soon be able to smell me from where you are.
